When am I going to get my Android 1.5 “Cupcake” update?

I feel your pain I am not so patiently waiting for this darn update. Any downloaded apps from the marketplace will not interfere with the OTA update from T-mobile, neither will ring tones, wallpapers or music on your SD card. I have two lines on my account and I am the main account I did not receive mine but my hubby (2nd line) got his this AM, it is nice but nothing spectacular. We should have received it today, tomorrow by the latest but they extended the roll out another week, so most likely by the end of next week. Only way you would not receive the OTA pushed through by T-mobile is if you have an unlocked phone running off another network. Or you downloaded the update from another site, which may not have the full features as the actual T-mobile update. So I do feel your pain but it will definitely come the question is when.
In the meantime these are some of the features included with the update:
