The only way for you to do it now, would be to jail break your phone and get root access. The update is currently only available for developer phones, and if it was rooted aka jail broken you could manually install it. It is pretty complicated to root your phone and if you dont know what your doing you can really screw it up. So your best is just to wait…it shouldn’t be too long.

I can’t stand having to wait for an official release for HTC Magic 32a without rooting and installing some custom stuff!

    1) Rename the file update.zip and copy it to the root directory of your SD card.
    2) After the file is copied, unmount the SD card and turn off you phone. Turn it back on by holding HOME+POWER. (Keep holding it)
    3) It will boot into a special update screen that has a ! in a triangle, if you don’t see it, press HOME+POWER again.
    4) Using your wheel, scroll down once. It should say [ALT+S]Apply Update from SD
5)Wait till it finishes, select to reboot
The boot up will take longer than normal, just let it finish.
